Timothy “Tim” Thomas, 75, died peacefully with his wife and daughter by his side. He is survived by his honey, Felice “Dolly” (nee Schultz), daughter Tracy (Jared) Rutowski, and grandsons Peyton, Stuart, Dylan, and TJ. Further survived by his sister Connie (Tom) Vanderhoef, brother, Paul Thomas, and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Tim was born March 2, 1946, in Milwaukee, WI. He spent 6 years in the Army Reserves. He then went on to work at Harnischfeger, National Tobacco, and Vic’s Wholesale. After retiring, Tim got to live his dream by moving to the Northwoods of Crivitz, WI, on Ranch Lake, with his wife, Dolly. They looked forward to family and friends coming up to visit, UTV riding, fishing, and campfires. He was also very proud to be a Red Squirrel.
Tim will be remembered for sitting quietly in a crowd, looking around and soaking everything in, and chiming in from time to time with his clever wit. May he rest in peace as he is now truly with the “Head Guy”.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at St. Luke’s Hospital along with Jackie Budynek for their careful and persistent efforts to find the source of Tim’s illness. They would further like to thank their staff and those at Hales Corners Care Center for their compassionate care.
Visitation will be held at Krause Funeral Home, 12401 National Avenue, New Berlin, Wisconsin on Monday, May 10, 2021, from 4:00 PM until 6:45 PM. Service will begin at 7:00 PM. Interment Good Hope Cemetery, Greenfield, Wisconsin.
