Yvonne “Vicki” Smith

Yvonne “Vicki” Smith passed away peacefully on February 23, 2026 surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Milwaukee, WI on November 26th to Raymond and Elvera (Gruewald) LeVeque.

Devoted mom of David (Kary Beth) Smith, the late Michael (Wendy) Smith, Michelle (Chuck) Snyder, and Deborah (Mike) Wojnowski.

Proud and loving Grandma/ “Gma” to 12 grandchildren, Armenta (Suzy), Maegan (Jason), Dane, D.J., Tara (Alex), Hailey (Nathan), Miranda, Jennifer (Collin), Gabrielle (Jeff), Brandon (Lindsey), Adam (Hannah), and Kiley (Jake). Adoring great-grandmother to 12 great-grandchildren.

Further survived by Shirley Chipman (sister), Wayne LeVeque (brother) and other family and friends. Yvonne is preceded in death by Madalyn Swanda (sister), Gary D. Smith (former husband) and Dane Frandsen (grandson).

Yvonne adored all animals, especially cats. She is reunited with her furry feline friends Tubby, Lucky, and Bella.

Yvonne loved to spend time with family, especially her grandchildren laughing, playing cards, doing crafts, baking cookies, and building puzzles.

A special thank you to the nurses and other medical staff in both the MICU and SICU at Froedtert Hospital.

A private celebration of life will be held with immediate family on a future date.
