Willie L. Mitchell, born April 1, 1962, in Tutwiler, Mississippi, departed this life on September 9, 2025, in the presence of loved ones.
Willie was a gifted photographer who spent much of his life capturing stories through his lens, including work with the Milwaukee Times newspaper. Outside of his career, he found joy in football, animals, good food, and exploring the outdoors. He especially loved road trips and long drives with his wife, Vicki, always discovering new places and photographing the beauty they found along the way.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Cornelius and Mary A. Mitchell, and several siblings. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife, Vicki; daughter, Samantha; stepson, Damien; his siblings; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

Visitation 10:30 AM – 12:30 PM, followed by service at 12:30 PM, on Friday, September 26, 2025, at Krause Funeral Home, 9000 West Capitol Drive, Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Interment at Graceland Cemetery in Milwaukee.
