Virgil O. “Virg” Solberg

Entered God's loving arms on Saturday, June 27th, 2015, at the age of 94. Husband of Mayme (nee Rotolo), for over 70 years. Brother of LaVerne Rudrud. Preceded in death by his parents; Olof and Clara (nee Erickson) Solberg, and his sisters; Joyce Smith, Veronne Colombo, and Maxine Skauge. Also loved by other relatives and friends.

Visitation at the Funeral Home, 12401 West National Avenue on Thursday, July 2nd, 2015, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm. Service at 2:00 pm. Private entombment at Wisconsin Memorial Park. Memorials appreciated to World Vision or Potawatomi Area Council Boy Scouts of America.

Virgil proudly served in the US Army during WWII. He was a POW and awarded the Purple Heart. Virgil's family and friends would like to extend a special thanks to the staff of Silverado Brookfield Memory Care Community and AseraCare Hospice.
