LaVern “Vern” Kessenich

Passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 8, 2024, age 96. Beloved husband of the late Phyllis (nee Manske).

Deeply loved by his step children; Michelle Webb, Margaret Layo (Bill Budzien), Fredrick (Terese), Carolyn, Lawrence, and the late William Manske.

Forever remembered by his siblings, James Kessenich (Carole), Darlene (the late William) Walter and Dick (Cynthia) Kessenich. Also, sadly missed by his “Florida Family,”  other relatives and friends.

Vern graduated from Edgewood High School in Madison, Wisconsin. He went on to retire from Bell System (AT&T) where he worked for 38 years. He spent his later years enjoying golf and friends in Naples, FL.

Gathering at Saint Teresa of Calcutta North Lake Parish, W314 N7462 WI-83, Hartland, Friday, October 4, 2024, 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM. Mass of Christian Burial 2:00 PM. Urn entombment St. Claire’s Catholic Cemetery to follow.
