Wadhwa, Usha Rani passed away on August 26, 2024, at age 73, following a brief illness. Loving wife of Yash Pal for 52 years. Cherished mother of Ajay and Ravi (Aekta). Beloved daughter of the late Chander Bhan Chugh and the late Devki Rani Chugh of Alwar, India. Sister of the late Sohan Lal Chugh, Yograj Chugh, the late Prem Malik, and Sweety Popli. Also loved by brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins, and many friends and colleagues.

Born in Alwar/Rajasthan, India, Usha earned her bachelor’s degree in political science in Alwar. She arrived in the USA (Rochester, NY) following her marriage to Yash in India. Usha lived in Rochester until 1979 before moving to her long-term home of Milwaukee, WI. She was a proud immigrant and became a US citizen in 1989. Usha’s career took her through various roles in schools, retail, and banking.

Her greatest joy came from generously hosting many family members and friends at her home in Glendale, WI. She enjoyed cooking, shopping, and traveling to new places. Usha always made sure everything she did came back to her true passion for her husband, children, extended family, and friends.

Services will be held at Krause Funeral Home, 21600 West Capitol Drive, Brookfield, Wisconsin on Friday, August 30, 2024. Puja prayer ceremony will begin at 4:00 PM, followed by memorial at 5:00 PM, and will conclude with cremation.

Usha -.A very noble soul- forever in my memory

Ravi, Ajay and Uncle, Auntie gave us so much love and compassion. She always took so much genuine interest in all our lives. We will never forget!

Yash, We just came to learn today of Usha's battle with cancer and her passing away. We watched the Memorial today and listened to all the speeches. Ajay, your oldest son, captured Usha's journey from India to Rochester, NY state, and later to Milwaukee, WI. She was so warm and welcoming to everyone. She was relaxed and always had a gentle smile. Our memories of your trips to Italy with Rajeev and Seema Jain will remain forever. We will also fondly remember Usha's unassuming and unwavering support and love during Rajeev's struggles. Yesterday our Angel Usha was celebrated with countless words of love, praise and tears. We all listened to words expressed in many languages, and watched as the family gathered at the base of her casket to prepare her for her final journey. I knew Usha for several years with an occasional encounter, but each time it was special. Her kind smile, and soft spoken words will never be forgotten. Our encounters included several surprise encounters at our favorite shopping place, Costco where she would cruise the isles while Yash waited patiently at the front the store. During our friendship we did manage to visit my home in Door Country with our mutual friend Kamlesh. We enjoyed every moment and she made herself at home in the kitchen which was her favorite place to be. I can still hear her soft laughter as we just enjoyed the moment. I regret that there weren't more but we have to just accept that just one is better than none, Usha has left me with wonderful memories of a person who gave everything to everyone and made the most out of life. My prayers are with the family who while blessed with her presence, will now have to live without her, but will have numerous conversions which will keep her alive in our hearts. Usha was Gods special Angel.
