Timothy James Doucette
Tim passed away Saturday November 16th, the anniversary of his brother Jim’s passing. He was surrounded by his wife, children, daughter in law, and first grandson on the way; surrounded by love and passing peace, until he greats us again with the same grace we became accustomed to in this life. He was the devoted husband of Linda (nee Kolinski) for 45 years. Proud father of Brendan (Ginny) and Nora Doucette. Also loved and will be missed by many additional family members and friends.
Thoughtful. Introspective. Humorous. Selfless. Generous. Intelligent. Kind. These are just some of the characteristics that could be used to describe who Timothy James Doucette was as a person throughout his amazing 75 years. Growing up in a large family prepared Tim for his career as a nurturer and provider. Tim excelled throughout his youth as an exceptional athlete and student, eventually carrying those skills into his professional life as a teacher, coach and mentor to countless individuals whose lives he touched. A true definition of a family man, Tim’s marriage to his wife Linda of 45 years provided him with a sense of pride and comfort that could be seen with every expression of his face.
Tim was able to relate to anyone he ever encountered—whether it was through his clever wit, charm or extensive wisdom—he possessed an innate ability to convert total strangers into confidants. He took tremendous pride in his family each and every day, enhancing their lives as they did his own, putting a smile on their face when they needed one or providing a shoulder to cry on when they were down. Tim will be remembered as a wonderful husband and adoring father who never gave up on his relentless pursuit of providing his family with the life he always dreamed of. To say that Tim will be missed is an understatement but the impact that he has made on those around him will last forever. One in a million, a true blessing on earth. Rest in peace my beautiful father.
