Thomas Joseph Nabak
June 30th 1955 – May 6, 2025
Thomas Joseph Nabak, 69, of West Allis, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully on May 6, 2025. Born in Thiensville, Wisconsin, Tom lived a life defined by love, loyalty, and a deep commitment to those around him.
Tom was raised by Leonard and Frances, along with his brothers Bill, Jim Ken, Bob, and sister Patty. From an early age, Tom embodied a quiet strength and a giving spirit—traits that shaped the man he would become.
He worked as a skilled specialty machinist, retiring in 2021 from ITW Shakeproof after decades of dedication. Beyond his professional life, Tom was a passionate sportsman and a constant presence in his community. He was a devoted softball player and coach, sharing his love of the game with others and inspiring many through his leadership. He also spent countless hours at the bowling lanes, forming bonds with his family as a long-time bowling partner, season after season.
A lifelong fan of Wisconsin sports, Tom cheered with heart for the Brewers, Packers, and Bucks. In retirement, he found joy in APBA Baseball, a board game that combined his love for baseball with his sharp mind and love of competition.
Tom’s life was grounded in love—he was a man who always put others before himself. Whether cheering from the sidelines, sharing a laugh, or offering a helping hand, Tom made those around him feel valued and cared for.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Cheryl; his children, Keith (Nicole), Kevin (Holly), Joseph (Lauren) and Stacy; and his siblings, Bill (Beverly), Jim (Cathy), Ken (Terri), Bob (Mary), and Patty (Tim). He also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, grandchildren, friends, and loved ones who will remember him for his warmth, humor, and unwavering devotion.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Krause Funeral Home, 21600 West Capitol Drive, Brookfield, Wisconsin on Saturday, June 7, 2025 starting at 2:00 PM where family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance, share stories, and honor the legacy of a truly remarkable man. Any and all Wisconsin sports attire is encouraged, but certainly not required. This is to support Tom’s passing in his eyes and how he envisioned his final day.
Tom’s presence made life better for those who knew him, and his memory will continue to do so for years to come.
In lieu of flowers, Memorials are appreciated to Saint Jude’s Hospital for Children, or The American Cancer Society.
