Tom Siegel entered into eternal life peacefully in his home on Saturday, January 4th, 2025 at the age of 80. He was born April 20th, 1944 to the late Ervin and Gertrude (nee Kaspar) Siegel. He was baptized on May 14th, 1944 at Oklahoma Ave Ev. Lutheran Church, Milwaukee. He was confirmed in the faith on May 25th, 1958 at Zion Ev. Lutheran Church in Neshkoro, WI. He is preceded in death by his siblings and spouses Gerald (June), Gertrude (Howard) Maertz, and John (Sonia).
He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Paula (nee Roellich). They were blessed with 3 children, daughter Christine (David) Kalusche and sons Mark (Missy) and Craig (Colleen). He cherished grandchildren Daniel (Jami), Matthew (Taylor), and Alyssa Kalusche, and Lexie and Tori Siegel. He adored great-grandchildren Elsie, Pippa, and Isabelle Kalusche, Josie Kalusche, and Mackyleigh, Addie, Anna, and Mason. Tom and Paula thank and praise God for their family.
Tom was a dedicated employee of Northwestern Publishing House for 42 years. He enjoyed being a choir director for 50 years and sang in the Lutheran Chorale for many years. He was an active member at the churches he attended.
Together Tom and Paula enjoyed working on several projects with Builders for Christ and the opportunities for travel in their camper that went along with it. They were also members of OWLS (Organization of Lutheran Seniors). In addition, Tom was a member of WELSMEN, a Lutheran Men’s fellowship group.
A memorial service will be held at Krause Funeral Home, 21600 West Capitol Drive, Brookfield, on Thursday, January 16, 2025. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM – 12:45 PM with the service beginning at 1:00 PM.
