Teresa Valerie Adams was born December 28, 1957 into the union of James and Geraldine Wright. She was the second of four children. She was brought up from birth at Rohoboth Church of God in Christ. She was a faithful member of New Testament Church since February of 2001 where she was an active member of the education scholarship ministry and she also helped with vacation bible school, church picnics, and attended numerous women’s ministries.
Teresa valued education and graduated with both her bachelors and master’s degrees. She retired from Milwaukee Public Schools in 2013 where she worked as a teacher, district level employee, assistant principal and principal. After retirement she did teacher observations for the district until her full retirement in 2021. Her hobbies included knitting, crocheting, reading, shopping, and bowling.
She was preceded in death by her father, James Wright, her mother Geraldine Wright, her brothers Kelwyn Wright and Stanley Wright, and her sister Angela Wright. She is survived by her loving husband Moses, son Christopher, daughter Jerilyn and a host of friends and relatives. She will be dearly missed.
