Passed away peacefully and joined her husband of 64 years, Arthur, on Wednesday, March 1, 2017. Age 91. Mother of Susan (Stephan) Chevalier, Barbara (Robert) Steigerwald, Peggy (Rusty) Knippenberg, Richard (Joan), Gary (Bobbie) and Jeffrey (Lisa). Grandma of 12, great-grandma of 27. Sister-in-law of Genevieve Kirschgassner. Also loved by other relatives and friends.

Shirley was a longtime member of Shaefer VFW Post 2923 Auxiliary and American Legion Charles King Post 406 Auxiliary. She was an avid bingo player.

Visitation is at Krause Funeral Home, 21600 West Capitol Drive, Brookfield, Wisconsin on Friday, March 3, 2017 from 4:00 PM-7:00 PM. Funeral Service at 7:00 PM. Private committal at Wisconsin Memorial Park.
