Sandra “Sandy” Wargolet (nee Karwacki)

Gone to meet her beloved husband Edward “Willy” Wargolet on February 7, 2025 at age 83. Daughter of the late Henry and Martha Karwacki. Proud mother of Jill (Jon Baranowski) and Stephanie (Pat Hearley). Loving grandma of Jesse and Dakota. Also loved and will be missed by additional family members and friends.

Longtime resident of West Allis. Sandy graduated from Pulaski High School in June of 1959. She was a lifetime member of Weight Watchers. Her West Allis involvements were numerous. Sandy received the Citizen Award for serving on the Beautification Committee, was a Neighborhood Watch Block Captain for the police department, as well as a member of the West Allis Citizen Police Academy.

Sandy was a Girl Scout leader at Jefferson Elementary School and proud member of the GFWC Woman’s Club of West Allis. She was an Educational Assistant in the West Allis-West Milwaukee School District for 23 years. After retirement, she was a volunteer at Aurora West Allis Medical Center. She was also the Queen Mum of the Red Hat Mamas Red Hat Society. Sandy spent many hours weekly as a member of the Southwest YMCA. Sandy was loved by many friends and relatives.

We are forever grateful to the Earth Angels at Matterhaus at the Gables of Germantown for caring for her and loving her everyday. Also, the hospice team at Horizon who worked endlessly to make her comfortable.

Visitation at Krause Funeral Home, 12401 West National Avenue, New Berlin, Wisconsin on Tuesday, February 25, 2025 from 5:00 PM – 6:45 PM. Prayers at 7:00 PM.

Sandy and Willy were my neighbors in the 90s and early 2000s. One day Sandy mailed me a cute card telling me how much she enjoyed the way I decorated my apartment's front windows for all the different holidays. She lived directly across the street and enjoyed looking out and seeing them. That little note made my day -- my week -- my year! Rest in peace dear Sandy. To her family, I am very sorry for your loss. Wishing you all peace too!
