Rosemary Jesko (nee Umhoefer), age 90, was peacefully called home on April 10th, 2025 at Angel’s Grace Hospice in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin. Born on May 5th, 1934, to Adela (nee Schuster) and Paul Umhoefer. Rosemary lived a life rooted in love, kindness, and creativity.
Rosemary shared nearly 60 beautiful years of marriage with her beloved husband Fred. Together, they built a life filled with warmth and joy, raising five daughters who were the pride of her heart.
Rosemary was a gifted and passionate crafter who poured her heart into every creation. Her crafts reflected the care and beauty she brought into the lives of those around her. Each handmade piece was an expression of love that helped shape a warm, beautiful, and loving life for her family.
She continued to enjoy her favorite pastimes until a few weeks before her passing-a testament to her enduring spirit and quiet strength.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband Fred, her parents, siblings, and other family and friends who now welcome her home. Left to cherish her memory are her daughters: Katherine (Gerardo) Quaassdorff, Mary (Paul Klessig) Jesko, Ann (Brian) Stenske, Patricia Jesko, and Christine Jesko. She also leaves behind a legacy of love in her grandchildren Jenny (Cyrus), John (Erica), Margaret, Adam (Karley), Claire, Nate, David, Kate, and her treasured great-grandchildren William, Rose and baby C. She was also loved in life by other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Rosemary’s life was a quiet, steady light full of compassion, grace, and the kind of love that leaves a lasting imprint on all who knew her.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 29, 2025 at St. Dominic Catholic Parish, 18255 West Capitol Drive, Brookfield, Wisconsin, 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM. Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM. Entombment to follow at St. Adalbert Cemetery.
