Rosella “Rosie” Lee Johnson: A Legacy of Quiet Kindness  

Rosella “Rosie” Lee Johnson, a woman whose gentle warmth touched countless lives, gained her wings  on March 16, 2025, at the age of 36. Born on May 1, 1988, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to Cheryl Johnson, Rosie lived a life defined by quiet generosity, love of family, and a steadfast commitment to being present for those she cherished.  

A Life Rooted in Family

For 10 years, Rosie worked as a dedicated retail associate at Goodwill and Pick ’n Save, where her kindness left a lasting impression. Colleagues and customers admired her calm demeanor, attentive ear, and her sense of humor often seeking her out for her ability to make even brief interactions feel meaningful. 

At home, Rosie’s heart belongs to her family. She shared a deep bond with her younger family members. Her kindness and  sense of humor left a lasting impression on her entire family. She was a companion who made even mundane errands feel like adventures through her playful and silly commentary. Her family admired her knack for lifting spirits with a well-timed joke or a playful observation, often leaving them smiling long after their interactions.

She is survived by her mother, Cheryl Ann Sargent-Johnson, siblings Cherell Johnson, and SkyyRon “Skyy” Sargent; her Grandmother Bettye Jean Johnson, nieces Zakyia, Talibah, Khadijah, Shakita and McKenzie; nephew Adham; Godmother & Cousin Tawanda Johnson, and many cousins, uncles & aunts who will forever cherish her memory.

Visitation to be held on Monday, March 31, 2025, from 11:00 to 11:45 AM at Krause Funeral Home, 9000 West Capitol Drive,  Milwaukee, Wisconsin 53222. Homegoing Service to begin at 12:00 PM.
