Roger G. Le Gros

Mr. Roger Le Gros, age 93 of Milwaukee passed away Tuesday morning, April 15, 2025.

He was born in Milwaukee on January 3, 1932, son of Herbert and Florence (née Runte) Le Gros. Roger was preceded in death by his wife of over 63 years, Nancy (née Treutel). He was also preceded in death by his parents, along with all his siblings and their spouses, Kenneth, Audrey (Jim), Richard (Janet) and Lois (Fred) and his beloved dogs. He will be missed by his many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nieces, great-great nephews.

Roger worked as a tool and die maker and eventually opened his own shop. He developed a reputation as one of the best tool and die makers in Southeast Wisconsin.

A special thank-you to the staff at Elaine’s Hope (Lutheran Home) for their compassionate and loving care of Roger in his later years.

Visitation will be at Krause Funeral Home, 9000 West Capitol Drive, Milwaukee on Saturday,  May 24, 2025 from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM.  Service at 12:00 PM. Procession to Holy Cross Cemetery following. 

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Alzheimer’s Association,  Elaine’s Hope or a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
