Engman, Robert James, 91, of Brookfield, passed away peacefully on August 26. He was born on November 16, 1934, in Milwaukee, the son of the late Clarence and Esther (Krause) Engman.

Robert attended Messmer High School and St. Norbert University.

He proudly served in the United States Army.

He is survived by his cousins and their children, along with other extended family and friends.

Special thanks to his care team who became Robert’s treasured friends.

Funeral services with military honors will be held on Thursday, September 17, 2026. Visitation at Mt. Zion Lutheran Church, 12012 West North Avenue, Wauwatosa: 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM, followed by service at 12:00 PM.  Burial at Valhalla Memorial Park, 5402 North 91st Street, Milwaukee, at 1:30 PM.
