It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Richard M. Wittemann on May 15, 2025 at the age of 86, in his home that he loved so much.

He is survived by his loving and caring wife, Rita, of 52 years and his daughter Nicole (Bryan) Mullett, grandchildren, Jace, Hunter, and Mason Mullett. Also survived by his grandchildren – Danny’s children – Tanya (Toby) Smith, Danny Jr. (Emily), Taija and Victoria Sams and great-grandchildren. Further survived by his siblings Ron (Ina) Wittemann, Kathy Welsh and Karen (Jim) Goetz and many other family members and friends.

He is preceded in death by his sons Danny and Brad Wittemann and his parents Elmer and Lorraine Wittemann.

Richard was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, February 22, 1939 and resided in New Berlin, Wisconsin. He enjoyed many winter months with Rita in Mexico and many summer weeks in Northern Wisconsin.
