Richard R. Hudy

Richard R. Hudy died peacefully, November 27, 2024 at the age of 98 after a life well lived. Richard was an Army Veteran who proudly served our country during times of conflict and peace. Richard was a kind and gentle man who was loved and respected by his wife of 72 years, Marge, their daughter Elaine (Scott) Mau and granddaughter Mackenna (Jake) Dropik. Richard is fondly remembered by nieces Cathy, Barb and Janet, nephew Jim and other relatives and friends.

Richard was a devoted husband, loving father and a proud Papa. In addition to spending time with family, Richard enjoyed fishing or watching “old fishing reruns”. He is preceded in death by his son, Mark (Lois), brothers Leonard (Evelyn) and John, Jr. (Elsie) and parents, John and Martha. A quiet and caring man, he will be missed.

Visitation will be Thursday, December 5, 2024, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Krause Funeral Home, 12401 West National Avenue, New Berlin, Wisconsin. Service to follow. Burial to happen at St. Adalbert.

As Richard would say, “Anyways, that’s the story.”
