Rebecca Rocha Grimm passed away suddenly in her home on Monday, December 2, 2024.
Beloved mother, grandmother, sister and aunt, Rebecca (Becky) was born in Racine, Wisconsin on July 2, 1954, to Cecilio Rocha and Lydia (Rodriguez) Rocha. Becky was known as a free spirit that cherished every single moment of her life. She had faced many physical trials only to come out of them with greater love and appreciation for her blessings. Family members and friends fondly remember her saying that if she were a cat, she’d be on her “3rd or 4th life!” She recognized how fortunate she had been to live through so many health crises. Becky was a nurse by profession and a gifted artist. She loved painting, making beaded jewelry and dancing. She loved nature, Korean music (BTS style), cats, and dogs. Mostly she loved being a mom and grandma. Special thanks to all the healthcare professionals who cared so much for her over all these years.
Becky is survived by her daughters, Fatima Croxford, Amanda (Andrew) Holzem, and her son, Michael (Fiancé Ellie Erd) Grimm. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Marquis Carter, Mariah Carter, Pieter Holzem, Andrew Holzem Jr., and Rowan Holzem. She will be missed greatly by her brother, John Rocha, sisters Isabel (John) Smolik, Dora (Felipe) Nuñez, and Connie (Rick) Plevak; and many nieces and nephews and other close family members.
A visitation to be held at Krause Funeral Home, 21600 West Capitol Drive, Brookfield, Wisconsin, on Thursday, December 12, 2024, from 2:00 PM – 4:45 PM with a prayer service immediately following at 5:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the family.
