Paula Gray

Paula Jo Gray (Bakken) passed peacefully on December 31, 2024, at the age of 77.

Loving mother of William Gray, Onietta Heath (Gray) – Brian Heath, and Thomas Gray – Juli Ann Kotke.  Proud grandmother of Bailey Gray, Alyssa Kotke, Elizabeth Gray, Conner Heath, and Brett Heath.  Beloved sister to Bruce Bakken – Natalie Bakken, Bud Bakken – Maureen Bakken, Brian Bakken – Cindy Bakken.

Preceded in death by her husband of 29 years Richard Gray, her brother William Bakken, and her parents Norman and Josephine Bakken.

She spent her life as a homemaker.  Paula and Richard loved the art of hot air ballooning.  Paula loved going to the theatre or cuddling up at home with a good book listening to jazz music.

Paula was active in the community attending meetings of the Women’s Civic Conference.

We will all miss Paula and the joy and laughter she brought to all of us.

Visitation to be held on Wednesday, January 15, 2025, from 10:00 AM – 11:45 AM at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, 12700 West Howard Avenue, New Berlin Wisconsin. Funeral service to begin at 12:00 PM.  For those who cannot attend, a live stream will be available on the Krause website, through her obituary page.
