I knew Paul since kindergarten. There was no busing or Xbox or internet. Us guys all hung out and played together after school and during the summer. After grade school Paul and I walked to Middle School and then High School. Both of which were about a mile away. After graduation a group of us still hung out together. One night Paul and I went out and saw two girls standing together. Paul thought he knew one from Church. So we went over and he was right. I ended up talking to the other girl. She became my wife

I’m very sorry to hear of Paul’s passing. We were “kids” together at Clement Avenue School in the 1950’s and 60’s, attended Sunday School together at Christ Church and were confirmed together. In fact, he’s standing next to me in our confirmation class picture from May of 1964, which I still have. I was at his house many times and our summers were spent on the Clement Avenue playground playing baseball and riding bikes. Those days seemed to last forever and are remembered very fondly. I feel fortunate to have spent a little time with him at our 50th high school reunion after not seeing him for about that same 50 years. We had a very nice conversation talking about our childhood just as if those 50 years had not passed. My condolences to his family and know that Paul will always be remembered by me for the very kind and good person I knew as a kid.
