We regretfully announce the passing of Patricia Kirkpatrick, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, who left us on September 6, 2024, at 78. Patricia passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loved ones, after a courageous battle with Alzheimer’s, a disease she fought with grace and dignity, a testament to her strength and resilience.
Patricia, born on December 17, 1945, in Lancaster, Wisconsin, lived a life characterized by love, kindness, and a strong commitment to her family and community. She was the daughter of Norbert and Elva Langmeier, and she grew up in Evansville, WI, where she established enduring connections and valued experiences.
Patricia’s love for her children and grandchildren was immeasurable, and she found joy in every moment she spent with them. She was a devoted wife to Kirk, with whom she shared 48 years of affection and companionship. Together, they created a house bursting with laughter, warmth, and cherished memories. Patricia’s love also extended to her community, where she actively patrolled the school playground during lunchtime, showing her warmth and inclusiveness to all.
Everyone who knew Patricia loved her for her kind heart, sassy spirit, and lively personality. Her memory of love, compassion, and generosity will continue to comfort and inspire her family and friends, making an indelible impression on everyone who knows her.
Patricia was married to Kirk, who has since passed. She is survived by her children PJ (Gina), Shawn (Joelle), and Todd, as well as her grandchildren Isabella, Patrick, Liam, Eli, and Clover. She is also survived by her siblings Janet Hanson of Milton, Fay (James) Schoenenberger of Evansville, and Larry Langmeier of Stoughton, as well as many extended family members and dear friends.
