Otis “Odie” Spiller Jr.

Otis “Odie” Spiller, Jr. was born on July 7, 1993, to the union of Shawan York and Otis Spiller Sr. in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He received his formal education within the Milwaukee Public School System, earning his high school diploma. He accepted Christ as his Savior at the age of 18 years old.

In his leisure, he enjoyed listening to music. He indulged himself in his music and aspired to become a rapper. It was his therapy. He was a proud member of the American Association of People with Disabilities. He also aspired to become a motivational speaker to other disabled persons.

Otis Spiller, Jr. departed this life on September 2, 2022. He was preceded in death by his mother, Shawan York and his best friend, Deandra Bryant.

He leaves to cherish his memory: his father, Otis Spiller; grandfather, Charles York; grandmother, Delarse Russel; grandmother, Roberta York; girlfriend, Cassie Greer; sisters, Cherrie Bratchett, Onique Lobley, April Lobley, Monique Morgan, Saniya Walker, and other lovely siblings; nephews, Javari Bratchett, Da’Shawn Brachett, and a host of aunts and uncles family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 2nd, 2022, at Krause Funeral Home, 7001 West Brown Deer Road, Milwaukee, WI, from 1:00 PM – 1:45 PM. Service to follow at 2:00 PM.
