Sadly, we just learned of Uncle Norb's passing. He was so kind to us, whenever we saw him at extended family gatherings (which dwindled in frequency in recent years)...and when he'd recruit us to play in his bowling tournaments. What a joy it was to spend time with him! Our sympathies to you, his daughters and grandkids/great-grandkids.

As you collect your father's belongings, you may find a note card from me and my family. Your father just came to my Dad's funeral Mass on July 11. We did not recognize him, but as soon as he introduced himself, we knew who he was; we were so happy to see an old friend from St. John Kanty - bowling and dart ball friend of my parents. I was also a babysitter for the Mimier daughters, when that group of friends went out on a few occasions! We were truly touched by your father's kindness, and hope that much of his kindness continues to come back to your family at this time.

First, I just wanted to say that my thoughts and prayers are with you all. Uncle Norbie was a wonderful person. He always made all of us smile and laugh. He was such a great part of our family. He will truly be missed by all of us.

We have only known Norb for 2 years after joining the church’s Adult Bible Fellowship, but he quickly became a favorite. He was always anxious to share a couple jokes and served as an unofficial administrator for our class. He will be sorely missed, but we know we’ll meet again!
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

Sorry for the families loss. He was a great man to be around. Always had a joke to tell when we said good morning to each other at Redeemer. Will miss him now but get to see him again some day. Can't wait to hear another joke from him then.
