Nicholas Esser

Nicholas Esser, 94, passed away on January 20th, 2026 at his home in Colorado Springs, CO. Nicholas was born in Milwaukee, WI on June 15, 1931 to Archibald and Margaret Esser (née Diderrich).

He lived most of his life in his beloved Wisconsin, most recently in Hartford. He met and married his most cherished Barbara A. Esser in 1964. They raised a family and enjoyed 57 years together.

He is survived by his three children, Kristin (Andrew), Troy, and Marcella (Dan); his 7 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by Yolanda Sanchez and numerous family members and friends.

Rosary and Latin Funeral Mass on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 626 Aspen Drive, Colorado Springs, CO 80911.

Memorial Service will take place at Krause Funeral Home at 12:00 PM on Monday, February 16, 2026 at 9000 West Capitol Dr. Milwaukee, Wisconsin. A burial at Holy Cross Cemetery of the Archdiocese of Milwaukee, 7301 West Nash Street, Milwaukee, Wisconsin at 1:00 PM, following the Memorial Service.
