It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Nathaniel “Nate Dogg” Grimm, a beloved son, brother, and friend, who left this world far too soon. Nathaniel was a quietly understated soul with a heart that spoke volumes. He didn’t need to say much to be deeply felt- his presence alone brought calm, strength, and an easy sense of belonging. Those who knew him best will remember his warm laugh, quick wit, and the way he cared deeply and fiercely for the people he loved.
Nate was happiest in the outdoors, whether it was casting a line on a quiet lake, walking through the woods on a crisp morning hunt, or just sitting around the fire with his family in Rhinelander and Redgranite. Nature was his sanctuary, and he shared that peace with everyone lucky enough to join him.
Nathaniel leaves behind a family who loved him endlessly and will miss him every day. He was, and will be, a loving son, whose memory will live on in every cast of fishing rod, every trail walked, and every moment spent together in the places he loved most.
Nate is survived by his loving parents Gail Norton and Charles (Susan) Grimm; Grandma Susan Norton; Cherished brother to Ilia (Adamaris) Grimm, Ekaterina Grimm, Erika (Justin) Nowakowski, Richard (Ashley) Kurz; Niece Riley and Nephews Jaxon and Hunter, further survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Visitation will be from 10:00 AM – 11:45 AM, service to follow at 12:00 PM, on Thursday, July 3, 2025, at Krause Funeral Home, 21600 West Capitol Drive, Brookfield, Wisconsin.
