Annette (Gatto) Zurawski left a message on April 9, 2021:
My grandparents lived 2 doors down from Dick and Nancy and I grew up playing with Kevin and Kim. I remember Nancy as a sweet, kind lady and as an adult, I enjoyed chatting with her and hearing her interesting stories. I also remember her hanging laundry outside every Monday morning, regardless of the weather :) My heartfelt condolences to the Hanley family.

I grew up on 75th Street in West Allis in the 1940s. Two houses away there lived a Schopf family. Mr. Schopf might have been missing a thumb. As I was a curly haired little boy he called me Curly. I believe they had four children, but I only remember Nancy & Shirley. They were always together. I have a photo of them watching three year old me on a swing. I’ve never forgotten them.
