Michael H. Love

Michael H. Love began his journey home on September 25, 2024, age 86.

Beloved husband of the late, Catherine (nee Schmitt) Love. Proud father of Melanie Shelp, Lisa (Lawrence) Love-Hoffert and Nadine (James) Love-Filer. Loving grandfather of Michael Shelp, Katie Shelp, Kyle (Michelle) Stehlik, Cody (Courtney) Stehlik, Casey (Traci) Stehlik, Jayme Love, Katelynn Hoffert, Bryce Filer, Sydney (Jordan) Hartmann. Further survived by his great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Herbert and Georgette Love; and his sisters, Jaqueline Love and Barbara Holevas.

Michael was proud to serve in the U.S. Air Force. While enjoying his retirement from WE Energies, Mike enjoyed fishing and all sports, playing Sheepshead, BINGO, and going to Potawatomi.

A Celebration of Michael’s Life will be held from 12:00PM – 3:00 PM on Sunday, October 20, 2024 at Krause Funeral Home, 12401 West National Avenue in New Berlin, concluding with Military Honors at 2:30 PM.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Wisconsin Parkinson’s Association, 13400 Bishops Lane, Suite 120, Brookfield, WI 53005.
