I am so sorry for this family’s loss. Cathy was more than my cousin. She was only thirteen years old when she became my godmother. She was soft spoken with a big heart. One of my fondest memories was when I was in kindergarten and Cathy was barley twenty living a couple of blocks from my school. She would come and meet me after my half day at Irving Elementary and we would walk back to her apartment for lunch. That was special one on one time I had with her, away from my five other siblings. I felt so grown up. As with the Lynch tradition of godparents throwing wedding showers, Cathy did likewise a surprise one for me. I will always have a place in my heart and remember her always each time I use the beautiful serving dishes that she gave me thirty years ago. My heart goes out to the entire family. With love, Sandy
