Peterson, Marna Jeanne (nee Biehl) – Born into eternal life on May 12, 2025, at the age of 59, after a long struggle with ovarian cancer.

Loving wife of Rusty for almost 26 years. Beloved daughter of Clara Biehl of Brookfield, WI. Sister of Steve (Sharon) Biehl of Brookfield, WI. Predeceased by her father, Francis Biehl and her brother, Thomas Biehl. Also loved by nieces Anna (Chris) Murfield, (Cael, Cayden, Corinna, and Aaro Murfield), and Rebecca (Justin) Birchmeier, (Addilyn, the late Matthew), as well as cousins and many, many friends.

I would like to thank everyone who has been so supportive of us during her journey. Although I wish I could name you all, know that you are in my heart and prayers.

Born in Menomonee Falls, Marna attended High School and went on to the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater for a Master’s Degree. Marna met Rusty in early 1994 and dated until they were married on October 1st, 1999.

During her health journey, she loved sending cards, DVDs, and handing out gospel tracts to hundreds of people. She had a true passion for giving to others and spreading God’s truth. VCY America was an essential part of her life, providing spiritual nourishment when travel was too difficult. In place of flowers, please send donations to VCY America, 3434 W. Marna, I am convinced that God called me to meet you, and I look forward to seeing you again when there is no cancer or pain.

Visitation will be at 1:00 PM to 2:45 PM and a Funeral Service at 3:00 PM at Krause Funeral Home on Monday, May 19, 2025 Krause Funeral Home is located at 21600 West Capitol Drive in Brookfield, WI. Burial on Tuesday, May 20, 2025 at 1:00 PM at St. Anthony’s Cemetery, N74W13604 Appleton Ave, Menomonee Falls, WI 53051.

Marna was my daughter Juliannes friend since Collage. I had a relationship with Marna as well. She always remembered me sending Christian papers and prayer Cards and a beautiful hanging Momento of Memories when my husband, Roy, died. Dear Rusty and family. I am so very sorry to hear about Marna. She was such a beautiful flower in this garden of life and now she is a beautiful flower in heaven’s garden. Such a generous, giving and loving person. I am glad her struggles are over although I will miss her terribly. I can just see her resting in the arms of Jesus. She was so faithful in passing out so many tracts and who can know just how many people she reached and touched their lives. Beautiful inside and out and such a blessing to many people. Marna, I love you. You are all in my thoughts and prayers. 1 Corinthians 2:9

Rusty, I along with my family are so very sorry for your loss. We know this must be such a difficult time for you. Marna contued to send cards and God's messages not only to Scott and I but also to my mother and brother. We are all so grateful for how she touched all of us in her own unique way. We are all praying that you find peace and comfort. Please know we also love you and are hear for you and the family. Rest in peace my dear sister in Christ, Marna.

I am so very sorry to hear of my dear friend Marna's passing. We have been close friends since we met in graduate school. I loved Marna with her big heart and beautiful personality. We shared so many fun-filled adventures over our decades together. Her generosity in sharing God's word has touched me and my whole family. Marna had a far reach when it came to sharing God's biblical truths. Marna will be greatly missed and I can't wait to see her pain-free and dancing around in Heaven. I loved Marna and her family. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. (2 Corinthians 5:8) "To be absent in body is to be present with the Lord."

My heart bleeds with sorrow as another member of the Biehl family has passed onto Gods arms. They were my second family growing up and Marna was just a little girl and the apple of her big brothers Tom's eyes. Tom was my best friend and passed at a young age in his 20's. The pain and suffering are now gone, and I can only hope your dad and Tom are waiting for you on the other side.
