Maria was an incredibly sweet woman. She was my mother in law for a time. During that time I spent a year in Iraq. While there she sent the sweetest Christmas package. She included a little Christmas tree so I didn’t need to fully miss the holiday being away. She enjoyed cooking traditional dishes and sharing them with me when she could. I had the pleasure of knowing her during the time she operated the nursing home and she those loved people so much. In all my years before and after her being active in my life, she is a prime example of thoughtfulness, kindness, compassion, and many more desirable human traits. Even though she’s not been in my life for many years, I’ve consistently held gratitude in my heart for her existence and have talked about her many times over the years. I’m incredibly grateful to have met her and experienced the absolute wonder she gave to this world by being here. We’re all better for having known her. Someone like her remains with us all even after they go I hope her family finds comfort in this difficult time and that her life is celebrated more than it is mourned as the years go by. My sincerest of condolences to her entire family as they learn to navigate the world without her here

Warm summer sun, Shine kindly here, Warm southern wind, Blow softly here. Green sod above, Lie light, lie light. Good night, dear heart, Good night, good night. ~Mark Twain

Momma I will forever remember our tea time together. The fancy tea cups and you brought out the teapot and got excited for the little milk and sugar container. I will forever remember this when I drink out of my teacup. It won't be the same but I have to know somehow in my heart you will be there still. I hope heaven is everything we talked about.

I am Maria's brother Michael, I remember back around 1956 we were living in O'Brien Ontario and we both got brand new winter coats. We were so proud we had to go show off our coats to all of our friends. At one house in particular we were in the garage and (somehow LOL) a can of yellow paint got opened up! Needless to say we got yellow paint all over our coats. Our parents were not happy. We wore our coats, covered in yellow paint, for the rest of that year!

Most sincere condolences to Maria”s children and grandchildren. I remember your mother as a childhood friend from Beamsville, Ontario, Canada. My parents were friends with Maria’s parents and so my brothers and I would visit the Lubinski”s quite often. Our farm was not far from theirs. We went to the same high school and Maria and I were in the same course. We lost touch when she entered the convent. I am glad that Maria had a lovely family and enjoyed and loved her grandchildren. May her memory remain eternal. God bless.

Maria had a true heart of gold. Her selflessness was apparent in everything she did. "What would Jesus do?" had always been her compass, and she lived her life to the fullest by answering in deeds and grace. May her warmth be forever felt by all those she touched. Вічная пам'ять.
