Lonnie G. Gunderson found peace on January 29, 2024 at the age of 63.
Beloved father to Amy (Philip) Merritt and Shannon (Steve Rajnicek) Bauske. Devoted life partner to Kay Scheetz. Also survived by his siblings Susan, Steven, Cindy (Mike), Norman (Michelle), Teri (Eric) and Greg (Michelle); nieces, nephews, and other family members and friends. Preceded in death by his parents, Gordon and Kathleen Gunderson.
Lonnie followed in his father’s footsteps working on small engines and other mechanical endeavors. He also loved hot rods, motorcycles and fishing. Lonnie was proud to serve his country in the U.S Marine Corps.
A visitation will be held from 11:30 AM until 12:30 PM on Saturday, February 24, 2024 at Krause Funeral Home, 12401 West National Avenue, New Berlin, Wisconsin with a Service at 12:30 PM. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery in Oak Creek with Military Honors.
