Linda Elaine Sommerfeldt was born into eternal life Thursday, November 21 2024 at the age of 75. Loving wife of Daniel David Sommerfeldt for 55 years. Wonderful, Cherished mother of two daughters, Elaine Ann Sommerfeldt and Brenda Lynn Sommerfeldt. Beautiful Grandmother to two grandsons, DeShon Raèl Barner Sommerfeldt and DeRon Evan Sommerfeldt. Linda was preceded in death by her parents Henry and Shirley Young. She was loved by many family members and friends.                                                            

Linda was born July 24, 1949 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Henry and Shirley Young. Linda grew up in the Washington Heights area where she attended Neeskara Elementary, Steuben Middle School, where she first met the love of her life, and finished her schooling at Washington High School. Linda then started dating the love of her life in December of 1965, (this date is per Dan Lol!). They later married August 9, 1969 and started their family in August of 1974.

Linda loved singing and had a beautiful voice and would sing in the car and around the house. She passed this trait onto her youngest daughter Brenda when we first discovered her voice at the age of 14, who now sings in the car and around the house also. Linda also enjoyed going for car rides and would share stories about her past with her daughters.                                        

Visitation will be Friday, December 6, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Krause Funeral Home, 12401 West National Avenue, New Berlin, Wisconsin. Service to follow beginning at 5:00 PM.

I'm heartbroken that I left so much time slide between us. Linda, we had many memories over the 54 years I've known you. Cards, Old Country Buffet with all the kids at lunch, motorcycle rides.
