Kornelia (Nelly) Cieczka (nee Neuberger) passed away on Thursday, June 5, 2025.

Preceded in death by her husband Peter. Survived by her sons Garret (Cheryl) and Timothy (Dawn) along with four grandchildren Brittany, Wendy (Jason), Timothy, and Amanda, three great grandchildren Kaiya, Kinsley, and Daisy, one sister-in-law Izzy Wiest, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

Nelly worked for Johnson Controls, Dominican High School, Elmbrook Schools, and Strong Mutual Funds.

Visitation will be held at Sacred Heart Croatian Catholic Church, 917 North 49th Street, Milwaukee, Wisconsin on Thursday, June 12, 2025, times from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM followed by a Catholic Burial Mass at 11:00 AM. Burial to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.

Cieczka Family, we are so sorry for your loss. Nellie was a beautiful person. Nellie (& Pete) were our neighbors on Leawood Ln for 23yrs. Pete was a character, we talked almost every day, until he passed away. We stayed in touch with Nellie and I made sure her driveway was cleared of snow. She was a very kind lady. We will miss her.
