November 17, 2014. Age 87. Graduated in 1945 from Juneau High School. Drafted into military service from June 1945 to January 1947 where he served as a Laboratory Technician in Naples, Italy. He loved the Italian people and his time there. Upon his return, he lived in St. Louis and in 1949 graduated as an airplane mechanic from Brayton Flying Services. He moved back to Milwaukee to work for Anderson Air Services. During that time he was reacquainted with a fellow high school classmate, Helen Fischer. They married and had two children. Ken went on to work for Outboard Marine and Philip Morris, respectively, as an airplane mechanic. He and Helen lived a full life together. They loved to travel, golf, and read; and they were great ballroom dancers. Ken is survived by his daughter Lisbeth (Steve Royster) Kuglitsch; son Jeffrey (Judith Zuege) Kuglitsch; grandchildren Rebeccah (Sean Bulthaup) Kuglitsch, Emily Quade and Linnea Kuglitsch; and sisters Grace (Dan) Patti and Susan (Jim) Benoit. Preceded in death by his wife Helen and his parents John and Sadie (nee Liban) Kuglitsch.
