Kathleen Ellen Still

Kathleen Ellen Still (nee Thompson) passed away peacefully on Tuesday March 4, 2025, at the age of 77.

Proud sister of James “Mike” Thompson and Annemarie (Hal) Peterson. Loving grandmother to Samantha (Benjamin) Pawelski, Jane, and Jacob Dillig. Beloved aunt to Erika (Thad) Fitzgerald, Sean Kelly, and Michael (Jessamy Meyer) Thompson, great grandma to Joseph and Abigail and grand-aunt to Elliott. Further survived by many family members and friends.

Preceded in death by her parents James and Elaine Thompson and her daughter Maureen Still.

Kathy was a quiet lady and a kind soul who was always comfortable with her own company. Despite her physical deafness, she still heard what anyone had to say. As her time grew shorter, the time that others spent with her, cousins helping her to appointments, visiting with her in her home, or just holding her hand, meant the world to her. She was so grateful for everyone. Quieting her fears and confirming that she was loved. You were always welcome in her home, in her life. Her absence will be felt profoundly.

In lieu of flowers, memorials appreciated to National Association of the Deaf (NAD) .

Per the family wishes private services will be held.
