Justin Mursch, 34, of Marana, Arizona, passed away on July 11, 2026.
Born on March 13, 1992, in Richmond, Virginia, Justin developed a lifelong passion for sports at an early age. His father taught him to love football, baseball, and golf, and he excelled in all three. He also cherished the outdoors, especially grouse hunting and fishing with family and friends, and enjoyed traveling throughout the United States and abroad.
After leaving Richmond, Justin and his family lived in Hoover, Alabama, and St. Charles, Illinois, before settling in Brookfield, Wisconsin. He graduated from Brookfield East High School in 2010, where he served as Captain of the Football Team and Captain of the Wrestling Team while also participating in baseball and track and field.
He attended the University of Wisconsin–Madison and the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee, earning a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering in 2015. During college, he interned at General Electric as a Thermodynamics Engineer in Richmond, Virginia. After graduation, Justin built a rewarding career at Caterpillar Inc., where he spent more than seven years applying his expertise in packaging, manufacturing, and engineering solutions. He took great pride in his work and the innovative contributions he made there.
Beyond his professional achievements, Justin was a loving son, brother, and friend with a wonderful sense of humor. He brought dedication, integrity, and a collaborative spirit to everything he did. Shortly after moving to Tucson, he met Tatiana Hickle, whom he considered the love of his life and with whom he had planned to become engaged.
He is survived by his mother, Debbie Ziemendorf Mursch; his brother, Christopher James Mursch; uncles Harold James Ziemendorf, Jr., Brant Mursch, Matthew Mursch, and Gregory Mursch; and numerous cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Bruce Bernard Mursch.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, July 31, 2026, at Krause Funeral Home, 21600 W. Capitol Drive, Brookfield, Wisconsin, beginning at 3:00 -5:45 p.m with a Service following.

Justin’s bright mind, warm presence, wonderful sense of humor, and commitment to his work and loved ones will be deeply missed.
