John “The Rock” Mudrock

June 29th, 1954 – November 10th, 2025

 

John George Mudrock 71 ran into the arms of Jesus on November 10th, 2025. Born on June 29th, 1954, to Lawrence and Yoshiko Mudrock, in Milwaukee, WI. Married 52 years to the love of his life, Kay (nee Setzer) Mudrock. Cherished father of Lisa (nee Mudrock) (Andy) Werner, and Lori Mudrock. Beloved Bampa to Gabrielle (Greyson), Alex, Emma, Hunter and Mya. He also welcomed his first great grandson Kyrie in October. Beloved owner of his fur baby Chico and Bumpa to his grand fur babies Patty B., Nova, Luffy and Dexter.

Brother to Bobby (D) (Barb), Jackie (Jim), Ronnie (Marla). Also survived by Aunts, Uncles, nieces, nephews, and many friends.

John, “Johnny” or The Rock, loved spending time hunting, fishing, spending time up North and sitting around a bonfire with family and friends, and eating sweet treats. He extended his love of hunting and fishing to his kids and grandkids. In his younger days, he also liked bowling and playing softball. You could always find him watching or listening to any WI sports game that was on.

John worked at Velvac, Harley Davidson and Waukesha Electric.

After retirement he spent his days attending his grandchildren’s concerts, dance recitals, sporting events, and school events. He also enjoyed being outside with all of the dogs watching the birds and other wildlife he invited into his backyard with open arms.

John lived his life following the word of God, preaching and teaching family and friends his passion for our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Now that John has entered his Heavenly home, surrounded by family and friends who have gone before him. All those who love John will be comforted knowing that he is no longer imprisoned by his earthly body, and now dancing on streets of gold. He will be greatly missed, and we all know we will see him again one day.

Gathering will be held at Krause Funeral Home, 12401 West National Avenue, New Berlin, Wisconsin from 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM followed by a Memorial Service at 6:00 PM on Monday, November 24, 2025.
