John M. Bohler
Born to this world May 15, 1937, in Detroit, Michigan. Born to Eternal Life, May 15, 2025, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Preceded in death by his father, Joseph J. Bohler, mother, Ann Hilmer Bohler, sister Joan N. Bohler Franecki and nephews David J. Franecki and Daniel J. Franecki. Survived by his sister Barbara (William) Schreiter, brother-in-law Lawrence S. Franecki, nephew Stephen L. (Deborah) Franecki and niece Mary N. (David) Shanahan. Further survived by other relatives and friends.
John retired from Mobil Corporation where he held various staff and management positions while residing in Milwaukee, Los Angeles, Dallas, Southport, CT, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, New York City and finally at Mobil’s US Divisional Headquarters in Fairfax, Virginia where he retired. After retiring, he returned to Milwaukee, which he called home after extensive traveling throughout the United States while working for Mobil. He attended Marquette University and Brookhaven College in Dallas, Texas.
John was a current member of Old Saint Mary’s Catholic Church in downtown Milwaukee and a past member of St. Florian Church in West Milwaukee for many years before he left the Milwaukee area.
Visitation will be held at Old Saint Mary’s Catholic Church, 844 North Broadway, Milwaukee, WI 53202, on Friday, May 23, 2025, 2PM-2:30PM. Mass of Christian Burial at 2:30PM. Burial will be held privately at Holy Cross Cemetery.
