Since Grandma wrote many poems for us, I thought a poem tribute would only be fitting to say goodbye. G: is for garden, for houseplants galore. You taught me how to propagate so I don't have to buy them from the store R: is for rides (backwards) in your station wagon to McDonald's on North A: is for ahead of your times, graduating from UW-Madison with a degree and "naughty" stories from your days in a sorority N: is for knitter (I know it's a stretch), but you taught me this skill I will never forget D: is for dogs and Depression Era Glass. In addition to Grandpa and the fam, these are things with which you shared your love en masse M: is for make-up, jewels and opulence. You always came to slay. As a little girl, I admired watching you get ready for the day A: is for antiquarian, in the best sense of the word. A collector, an encyclopedia, but most importantly, a friend We'll love you and miss you until the end!
