Susan Krancki left a message on December 20, 2024:
My deepest sympathy to Joan’s family. We are in Naples for the winter so unable to attend. I met Joan when she was my third grade teacher. She also then met my uncle Bob and they stayed friends and traveling partners till Bob became unable to travel due to age. Joan was smart , witty , and good hearted. They were a fun pair and Joan became like an aunt to me. We shared many holidays and birthdays. I am sure Bob was waiting for her and they are traveling the heavens together!

Rev Ralph Schultz left a message on December 12, 2024:
When I think of Joan Kutter, Bethany United Church of Christ, 54th and Locust, Milwaukee comes to mind. My father, Rev Around Schultz, was her pastor for 32 years of Joan's Bethany membership. Wherever Joan was needed, at church, she was there willingly with her time, resources and talent. Little did she change over the years, and will always be fondly remembered. "Well done, good and faithful servant."
JUDITH ZIMMERMANN left a message on December 11, 2024:
I will miss Joan. Our friendship began many years ago when she and Bob exercised at the 124th St. Y. Joan also visited my home - we always had something to talk about. At my invitation, Joan came to Lynn Corriveau's on 96th St. for Doggie Playtime. Seven women and nine dogs convinced Joan that dogs aren't frightening. Joan and Lynn shared memories of their days at UW-Madison - both becoming educators. I'm fortunate to have known Joan. Rest in Peace - Dear Friend. Judy
