Rom, Jeannette E. (Nee Reif) – Left us to be with our Lord on Friday, December 23, 2022, at the age of 99.

She was the beloved wife of John for 32 years and was the sister of June Drews. Cherished mother of Robert and Jerry. Special aunt of Ruth, Claudia, Paul, David, James, Lois, Bethany, and Jonathan. Loving step-mother of John and Sandra. Beloved grandmother of Jennifer and Nicole. Special step-grandmother of Connor and Jacob. Great-grandmother of Jalen, Illiana, Calysta, Zaphira and Judah.

Jeannette was the secretary to the president of the Southgate branch of the First Wisconsin Bank (now US Bank) for 19 years. Through her contacts there she made many cherished friends. She was very active in all the Missouri Synod Lutheran churches to which she belonged, often serving as a choir member or even director. She also sang with the Lutheran A Cappella Choir of Milwaukee. Jeannette was very organized and meticulous as was her father.

After retiring and marrying John she lived in Milwaukee, Arkansas and Florida, eventually moving back to Franklin, Wisconsin. She greatly enjoyed the visits of family and friends especially as her health declined. She also delighted in family gatherings and will be missed at these.

Visitation at Krause Funeral Home, 21600 West Capitol Drive, Brookfield, Wisconsin, on Wednesday, December, 28, 2022, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Additional visitation at the Funeral Home on Thursday, December 29, 2022, from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM. Funeral Service at 11:00 AM. Entombment to follow at Wisconsin Memorial Park.
