Passed away peacefully and entered God’s loving arms on May 30, 2023, age 84. Beloved wife of Eugene for 62 and half years. Loving of mother of Sue (Robert) Hartwell, Sharon (John) Hushek, Kevin Lunog, Bonnie Regalia and Steven (Chasity) Lunog. Grandmother of Natasha (Sam), Brianna, Brittney, Aaron (Karli), Alex (Marie), Hannah (George), Ian, Mitchell (Mana), and Sam. Sister of Robert (Jan) Ries and Richard (Bonnie) Ries. Also loved by Trace, nine great grandchildren and counting, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Janet grew up in West Allis and Hales Corners. Went to Concordia College at River Forest, IL and got her teaching degree. Janet loved to sew, crochet and do other crafts throughout the years. She loved baking and cooking. She opened Kohl’s Department store at Southridge and retired from there as a supervisor.

Service on Sunday, June 4, 2023, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 7821 West Lincoln Avenue, West Allis, WI 53219, at 1:00 PM with a gathering to follow.
