Janet Ann Weick (nee Giberson) Gained her wings on May 30, 2023, age 91.
Janet was born in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin to Earl and Faye Giberson on November 1, 1931. She graduated from Juneau High School in Milwaukee and spent her life in Milwaukee before residing in Brown Deer for 18 years and then New Berlin for the last 48 years. Janet was married to Ronnie for over 50 years, he preceded her in death.
She is survived by her son Reed A. Weick of Milwaukee; two grandchildren: Toni (Steve) Kraft of Pewaukee and Brian (Amanda) Weick also of Pewaukee; she dearly loved her great-grandchildren:
Mikayla (fiancé Jim Fuchs), Alexis, Lorelei, Aidan, Teagan, Steven, Jr., Kearan, Paxtan, and Gabriella; great-great grandma to Araya. Further survived by niece, Cate in New Mexico, and many other friends and relatives.
In addition to her husband Ron, Janet was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Betty (Lee) Hayne, and cousin Anne (Jack) Connell.
A celebration of Janet’s life will be held on Saturday, June 17, at Krause Funeral Home, 12401 West National Avenue, New Berlin, Wisconsin. Visitation will be from 9:00 AM – 11:45 AM. Memorial service will follow at 12:00 PM with Pastors Kito Morgan, Ansen Beverly-Davis, and Reed Weick officiating. Private interment at Pinelawn Cemetery.
