Kim Holzberger left a message on September 27, 2024:
We(my brothers: Keith, Kevin and I) knew Jim well growing up and playing strike out at Hampton School in the summer. I recall, he lead a color guard of young ladies, instructing them how to march while twirling a fake rifle. Later in life; we worked together laying carpet for Bob Treants in Madison. Jim truly was a great friend, even to my father; they would see each other at the VA, sit and talk for an hour or until their appointments. Jim will be missed by many friends and family.

Jim and I became friends and Brothers 53 years ago serving together in Vietnam. I will miss him immensely. He could make some one smile and laugh even in scary times over there. Jim could lift one"s spirit when they were down or homesick. Jim will remain in my thoughts Forever. That is the kind man he was. HE was truly a BROTHER.
Larry Tallacus left a message on September 25, 2024:
It's always sad when we lose a brother. Jim was my No. 1 gunner in Weapons Platoon in the Vietnam War. After the war, he made sure to stay in contact with as many of the Weapons Platoon as possible. Even from a distance, he kept them all connected. Thanks Jim. May your path be free of obstacles.
