Potosnyak, Jack Ernst
Born into Eternal Life on Sunday, September 8, 2024, at the age of 78, following a long battle with cancer. Loving husband of Jill (nee Trattner) for 17 years. Born in Milwaukee, Jack attended West Division High School. He married Cathy (nee Butcher) who predeceased him. After two years in the United States Army, he completed an apprenticeship with Steamfitters Local 601 and remained active in that union throughout his life. He retired from the trade at age 55 and went on to teach in their apprenticeship program at Blackhawk Technical College for 10 years. He was also a licensed home inspector.
Jack was a man of great faith and was active in church, most recently at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Brookfield. He was very generous and helped many with free home inspections, home repairs and financially (usually anonymously).
