Devoted great-grandpa of Antonio, Jakob, Brandon, Destiny, Mason, Jordan, Carter and Payton. Devoted brother of Eleanor Stechauner, Gertie (Bob) Mitchell, and brother-in-law of Gloria Stechauner. Also loved by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by his sisters Marie Monroe, Ella Meyer, Fanny Jaschek; and brothers Rudolph, Joe, Ray and Tony Stechauner. Herbie was a member of St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, Greenfield Men's Club, VFW-Post #2923 and Lustig Wendlstoana Club. He enjoyed golfing, bowling, fishing, being up north at the cabin and spending time with his family and friends. Herbie proudly served his country in the Army during the Korean War.
Visitation at the Funeral Home, Tuesday June 17, from 4:00-7:00 PM. Additional visitation at ST. MARGARET MARY CATHOLIC CHURCH, 3930 North 92nd Street on Wednesday from 10:00-10:45 AM. Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM. Burial at Holy Cross.
