Georgine “GiGi” Lynn Pivonka

Passed away eight days shy of her 83rd birthday on Saturday, December 10, 2016. She was the loving mother of Francis, Jr. (David Morrill), Timothy (Christine), and Kerri. She will be dearly missed by her sisters Celeste (George) Evers, Sue (Wayne) Vorpahl, Beth (Les) Hillberg, Sally (Larry) Ketterer, and brother William (Peggy) Palmer. Also survived by six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Gigi has reunited with her beloved husband of 52 years, Francis Pivonka, Sr., and infant sons Joseph Lloyd and Terrence Lyle.

Visitation at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 500 West Marquette Street, Appleton, Wisconsin, on Wednesday, December 21, 2016 beginning at 9:30 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at 11:30 AM. Interment at a future date in Argonne, Wisconsin
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

Gigi earned a 2-year degree in Business Administration and was employed in Green Bay and Crandon, WI as an Administrative Assistant before becoming a homemaker and raising her children.
