Georgia Ohly

Passed away peacefully at Waukesha Memorial Hospital April 3, 2024, age 65. Survived by her husband Karl-Erik Ohly; son Aaron M Ohly; (fiancé Stephanie Barnhardt); granddaughter Mackenzie Tucker; sisters-in-law Anna Ohly and Molly Ohly; brother-in-law Walter J Ohly (Laure); brothers Gerry (Annie nee Salas) Trandler, Tony Chiconas, and Geno Chiconas; sisters Jeanie Pettit and Diana Hernandez; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Beloved dogs Peanut and Ricky Ohly, Eve and Willa Ohly. Preceded in death by father Charles P. Chiconas; mother Pauline Chiconas (nee Oreskovich); grandson Aaron M. Chiconas Jr.; and sister-in-law Margaret Chiconas (nee Schneiker).

Georgia worked in various positions in the telecommunications field for 42 years and is credited with 35 years’ service. This is due to lay offs and facility closing. She worked for CP Rail and UPS during her service breaks. She also worked part time for H&R Block and Wal-Mart.

Georgia liked to travel and see new places. She enjoyed music by favorite artistes Donny Osmond and Kenny Rodgers. Her passions also included crossword puzzles, word finds and computer games.

Visitation will be held at Krause Funeral Home, 12401 West National Avenue, New Berlin, WI 53151, on Friday, April 12, 2024, from 9:00 AM – 10:15 AM. Celebration of Life at 10:30 AM. Burial to follow at Highland Memorial Park.
