George Alan Nohelty, age 76 of Hudson, Fl, passed away on February 12, 2025 at Cornerstone Hospice, Tavaras, FL.
He was born on August 21st, 1948 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, son of William and Margaret (Barth) Nohelty. He attended Sussex Hamilton High School. He was drafted in the Army in December 1968 and served until December of 1970.
He joined the carpenter’s union and worked as both a roughing and finishing carpenter for approximately 15 years. George then decided to change careers and began working for the Waukesha County Sheriffs Department until the time of his retirement.
George is survived by three devoted daughters, Brenda (Brad) Kunz of Germantown, WI, Christy (Zak) Montoya of Walkertown, N.C. and Deanna Otto of Germantown, WI. and his stepdaughter Kelly (Jeremy) Hoberg of Oconomowoc. He is further survived by his grandchildren, Reed and Riley Kunz, Kylie Otto, Bella and Gianna Montoya, Riley and Jace Hoberg. George is also survived by his sister Maureen Spilker of FL, son -in-law Jason Otto, former spouses Sharon Ottow and Sue Matzelle, and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Margaret Nohelty, his sister Eileen Waltenberry, and step daughter Jodi Fox.

A Celebration of Life for George will be held on Sunday, February 23, 2025 at Krause Funeral Home, 21600 West Capitol Drive, Brookfield, Wisconsin, from 1:00 PM – 3:45 PM. Memorial Service at 4:00 PM. Burial 10:00 AM on Monday, February 24, 2025 at Sunnyside Cemetery in Lannon, Wisconsin.
