Dear Brenda Christie and Deanna, Del and I are so sorry to hear about your dad! Sadly we are unable to attend the funeral as we are gone until middle of March. I had a long talk with your mom and she told me how awesome you were to him not only through all this but always which is not surprising. We have some great memories of George. Just a few…when Del and your dad went to practice their snow skiing in Oconomowoc on the coldest nite of the year and it was so icy….lets just say they “flew” down the hill rather than skied down. YIKES!! Another time we had a taco dinner at our house. We told your dad the hot sauce was REALLY hot! He said he liked hot sauce. So he poured it on. His face got so red! I think he sweated for a week. Another “yikes.” We have laughed about these stories many times. All great memories as we know you have too. We are so thinking of you and praying for God’s peace.

I was so surprised and very saddened to hear of Georges passing. My deepest condolences to the family. I was with George during his time at the Sheriff's department and he visited my home many times. George was a good and capable officer and I enjoyed working with him.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

I worked with George only a couple of times as a squad partner. He was a good officer and we seemed to think alike, making for successful tours together, as well as enjoyable times. I was saddened to hear of his untimely passing.
